A Theory of Aspects

We just got the news that our paper entitled "A Theory of Aspects" was accepted for the technical track at ooPSLA'08! This paper resulted from a close collaboration between Pierre Baldi and myself, through work done mostly by Erik Linstead, with Sushil doing a piece of the validation. Giving back to XWiki

We've been using XWiki for this site almost since XWiki came out, 3 years ago. Sushil decided it was the best wiki engine for us. CodeGenie plugin available for download

We are happy to announce that the first release of CodeGenie is available for download. We have updated the CodeGenie website with a working jar, sample examples to work with, getting started guide and a more detailed manual. Currently CodeGenie works with Eclipse Europa release, and it has been tested on Windows and Mac.

we are at ooPSLA

We (sushil, joel, otavio and crista) are at ooPSLA 07 in Montreal. Our poster on CodeGenie was selected as a poster for the student research competition and will be on display in the Coffee Break room till the conference ends. Mining Challenge Award at MSR'07

Erik's paper on mining Eclipse with the Sourcerer tools won the Mining Challenge Award at this year's Mining Software Repositories Workshop (MSR'07), co-located with ICSE'07. The paper is available here.

Mondego in Second Life

OOPSLA 06

We (Crista, Sushil, Erik) are currently at OOPSLA 2007 held at the Oregon Convention Center, Portland. Our poster on SOURCERER will be up in the Portland Ballroom Court till Thursday.

trac installation

mondego is now running trac - a SCM and project management tool. We will be using this to track all the bugs, feature requests, tasks and other things. We'll make the 'ticket' (a term used for something like an 'issue' in trac) pages accessible to public so that users can report bugs and suggest features in future.
