Terrains for OpenSim

I made a little tool that reads USGS DEM files and produces terrains for OpenSim. Here is a picture of one of those terrains, taken from Ithaca, NY. And here is the tool.

A Theory of Aspects

We just got the news that our paper entitled "A Theory of Aspects" was accepted for the technical track at ooPSLA'08! This paper resulted from a close collaboration between Pierre Baldi and myself, through work done mostly by Erik Linstead, with Sushil doing a piece of the validation. CodeGenie plugin available for download

We are happy to announce that the first release of CodeGenie is available for download. We have updated the CodeGenie website with a working jar, sample examples to work with, getting started guide and a more detailed manual. Currently CodeGenie works with Eclipse Europa release, and it has been tested on Windows and Mac.

CodeGenie placed first in SRC, OOPSLA 07

We are pleased to announce that CodeGenie won the first prize in the Student Research Competition at OOPSLA'07. This puts Sushil, Joel and Otavio in the finals for the ACM Student Research Competition. We are thrilled!

Our poster on CodeGenie was selected as a poster for the student research competition and will be on display in the Coffee Break room till the conference ends.
